We are searching for an inspiring Teacher of Media Studies / Film Studies to join a dynamic school in Nottingham . This role offers the opportunity to guide pupils in exploring media, film language, and modern communication while developing analytical and creative skills.

As a Teacher of Media Studies / Film Studies , you will encourage learners to understand how media shapes society, culture, and identity while helping them develop their own creative ideas through practical and theoretical learning.

Teacher of Media Studies / Film Studies - The Role:

* Deliver engaging lessons covering media theory, film analysis, and practical production
* Help pupils explore storytelling techniques, cinematography, editing, and media platforms
* Encourage critical thinking and discussion about media influence and representation
* Support pupils in developing creative projects and coursework portfolios
* Monitor progress and provide clear, supportive feedback

What You'll Bring:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in media and film studies
* Ability to inspire creativity and analytical thinking in pupils
* Effective classroom management and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
