We are seeking a Site Technician to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality survey services. The role involves conducting visual condition surveys and inspections, primarily on roads, to support infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

The role is based from our Nottingham office. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate and detailed condition surveys on roads and other infrastructure.
  • Ensure all survey data is collected and recorded in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Operate and maintain survey equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Drive to and from survey locations, ensuring timely and efficient travel.
  • Tow trailers and transport equipment safely and in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collecting survey data on handheld devices.
  • Undertake asset data collection surveys employing GPS enabled handheld devices.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey results meet project objectives.

Work Environment

  • Primarily site-based, with outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Some projects require working away Monday–Friday
  • Occasional night shifts required (paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate)

Qualifications



Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent

    qualifications

    ), including English and Maths, or relevant experience
  • CSCS Card – demonstrating site safety awareness.
  • Safety Critical Medical – ensuring fitness for safety-critical tasks.
  • Van Driving Competency – ability to operate vans safely and efficiently.
  • Trailer Towing Competency – proficiency in towing trailers for equipment transport.
