Estates Assistant
You will be joining a dedicated and professional Estates team supporting a varied portfolio of sites across the Nottingham area. The organisation prides itself on delivering high‑quality estate services and maintaining safe, attractive environments for customers and communities. Your new role
As an Estates Assistant, you will work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, providing high‑standard grounds maintenance, gardening, and cleaning services.Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining lawns, shrubs, plants, and garden areas
Carrying out general grounds maintenance and seasonal work
Cleaning and upkeeping communal internal areas
Removing refuse safely and ensuring all areas remain accessible
Reporting repairs, fly tipping, graffiti, and any safeguarding concerns
Building positive relationships with customers, contractors, and colleagues as the onsite representativeContract: Temporary
Pay rate: £14.15 p/h - £18.22 p/h. Please note that only pay types are PAYE or Umbrella. We do not pay CIS.Start date: 30th March What you'll need to succeed
You will bring: Proven experience in grounds maintenance across a variety of sites
Strong plant, shrub, and lawn care knowledge
Excellent customer service skills
Physical capability to undertake manual tasks safely
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Health & Safety, including COSHH and PPE
A full UK driving licenceDesirable qualifications include: NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture or equivalent (RHS, City & Guilds, HND)
