Undertake training activities that will develop an understanding of biochemical, cellular, and biophysical screening techniques.
Deploy to client projects, developing and delivering bespoke screening assays as required.
Design and execute experiments independently.
Identify and solve problems associated with own experiments and those of other team members when appropriate.
Present scientific findings, interpretations, and recommendations to key project stakeholders.
May take on a leadership role with significant level of technical and scientific supervision within Bioscience only projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
Ideally you will be close to submission or have a PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry or a related Biology-specific discipline. Relevant industry experience within a drug discovery environment will also be considered.
A strong scientific track record with experience built within a drug discovery environment is highly desirable.
A working knowledge of current trends in drug discovery.
Ability to develop novel assays from first principles and interpret complex biological datasets.
