A well-organised and forward-thinking 11–18 secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an experienced and highly organised Admissions & Attendance Manager to join its central administration team. This is a pivotal role within a school that places strong emphasis on safeguarding, student engagement and accurate data management.

The Role
The Admissions & Attendance Manager will oversee all processes relating to:
Student admissions and mid-year transfers
Attendance monitoring and reporting
Liaison with local authorities
Coordination of attendance intervention strategies
Maintenance of accurate student records
You will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, pastoral leaders and senior staff to ensure attendance remains high and safeguarding protocols are consistently upheld.
Key Responsibilities
Manage new admissions and transition processes
Monitor daily attendance data and follow up absences
Produce attendance reports for senior leaders and governors
Coordinate communication with families regarding attendance concerns
Maintain accurate student data on the school’s management information system
Support attendance panels and safeguarding meetings
This role requires both precision and the ability to build professional relationships with families and external agencies.

Have previous experience in school admissions or attendance
Demonstrate strong organisational and data management skills
Be confident communicating with parents and external professionals
Understand safeguarding responsibilities within education
Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times
