STABILISATION INTERVENTION WORKER – THE WELLBEING HUB, NOTTINGHAM, PERMANENT, 18.5HRS, GRADE 4, £27,500 , FTE

We are looking for someone with a sound knowledge of mental health and excellent organisational skills to join our small team.


The City Stabilisation Service provides a structured 8 week psycho-education intervention to adults referred by secondary mental health services in Nottingham.


Our ACT based interventions are delivered one to one and in groups and offer people with mental health difficulties the opportunity to develop tools and strategies to cope with difficult emotions and experiences and to keep themselves safe in a crisis.


As a Stabilisation Intervention Worker you will deliver sessions one to one to a caseload of patients, and to our groups which take place in Nottingham City centre and Bulwell. You will need good active listening skills and the ability to deliver and explain materials to a wide range of participants including those who may be dysregulated and experiencing significant distress. You will need to be confident managing groups and keeping everyone safe whilst discussing sensitive issues.


In addition to this we are an NHS commissioned service and are required to provide detailed and accurate reports on our activity as well as liaise with secondary mental health services across the city. You will need good administration and time-management skills to ensure that our targets are met.
