Gatehouse Security Officer - Nights

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Group, working at site in Nottingham, NG7 area.

Hours: On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. 4 on 4 off to cover shifts of 18:00pm - 06:00am.

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Responsibilities:

* Manage the booking and dispatch of all vehicles to site
* Conduct trailer temperature checks and ensure correct sealing procedures
* Maintain and enforce site biosecurity standards
* Control and issue site keys in line with security protocols
* Monitor and manage site access control
* Provide out-of-hours reception and security support
* Operate and manage site weighbridge activities
* Monitor and uphold animal welfare standards
* Carry out pallet and basket condition checks
* Conduct staff and vehicle searches, including within production areas
* Complete and maintain waste documentation accurately
* Perform routine site chiller temperature checks

Person Specification

* A valid SIA licence or applied for.
* A full five year checkable employment history.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
* Surveillance skills.
* Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
* Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
* IT skills.
