Year 4 Class Teacher - Nottingham

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join our inclusive and high-achieving primary school in Nottingham from January 2026. This is a permanent position, open to full-time and part-time applicants, with potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate.

The Role
Position: Year 4 Class Teacher
Location: Nottingham
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered
TLR: Available for Subject or Phase Leadership (for the right candidate)

As our Year 4 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver inspiring lessons that deepen pupils’ knowledge across the curriculum.
• Build confidence in reading, writing and mathematics and foster a growth mindset.
• Use assessment to plan stretch activities and targeted support.
• Foster a classroom where pupils feel safe, supported and willing to take risks.
• Work in partnership with parents and colleagues to secure strong progress.
• (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase area as part of a TLR.

What We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 4.
• Are confident delivering a rich and balanced curriculum.
• Have strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate creativity, positivity and a commitment to inclusion.
• Are open to leadership responsibilities if seeking a TLR.
