A thriving and well-established secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a highly organised and dependable Site Manager to take full responsibility for the operational management of the school premises. This is a key leadership position within the support staff structure and plays a crucial role in ensuring the school environment remains safe, compliant, secure, and fully operational at all times.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of site management and will work closely with senior leadership to maintain high standards across the campus.

The Role

• Leading and managing the site and cleaning teams, including supervision and task allocation

• Ensuring full compliance with health & safety legislation, including statutory checks and record keeping

• Managing preventative and reactive maintenance across the site

• Overseeing external contractors and monitoring the quality and safety of works

• Managing site security systems, key holding, and safeguarding-related procedures

• Supporting school lettings, events, and examinations setup

• Contributing to long-term site development and improvement planning

• Maintaining accurate compliance documentation and audit-ready records

• Proven experience in site or premises management, ideally within a school environment

• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance processes
