The Role

The successful candidate will deliver dynamic Science lessons, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and practical skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and examination specifications.

• Teaching across multiple key stages, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

• Supporting practical experiments, demonstrations, and investigations safely and effectively.

• Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on student progress.

• Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development.

• Supporting STEM clubs, enrichment activities, and school events.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong subject knowledge in Science (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is advantageous).

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

• Knowledge of practical Science safety and health procedures.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
