Part-time Bookkeeper

Your new company
A well-established family-run business in Nottingham (North of the city centre) with a busy operational environment and multiple bank accounts, is seeking a bookkeeper to help streamline financial processes and bring accounts fully up to date on a part-time basis.

Your new role
As a Bookkeeper, you will provide hands-on, on-site support starting ASAP, initially focused on clearing a backlog of bank reconciliations. Once the backlog is resolved, you will continue to support the business on an ongoing, ad‑hoc basis. This is a flexible role, with days and hours to suit, ideal for someone who can work independently, crack on with the work, and add value by suggesting improvements to existing finance processes.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, particularly with bank reconciliations
Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
A proactive mindset, with the confidence to suggest ways to streamline financial processes
Availability to start immediately
Willingness to work on-site north of the city centre
