Group Tax Advisor
About the Job
Games Workshop is looking for a Group Tax Advisor on a 12 month contract to join our international tax team. In this key role, you will ensure compliance and manage risk across direct tax related matters.
Your ability to navigate complex situations with integrity will ensure that we maintain the highest standards in direct tax, advising on global tax issues whilst ensuring compliance. As we are virtually integrated, you will be working across a range of business areas and in this role you will be given an opportunity to develop your skills in overseas tax requirements.
With a pragmatic approach and a keen eye for detail, you will adhere to filing dates whilst maintaining accurate records. You will also provide tax support for global projects, ensuring alignment with the unique requirements of the business to support growth with effective mechanisms in place to optimise tax outcomes and mitigate risks.
Tax will be your speciality, but you will also need to be a people person, happy to have conversations with a wide range of staff and able to build strong relationships throughout Games Workshop. You will be responsible for providing information across the business and working collaboratively across global territories, including the EU, North America and APAC. You will also have the opportunity to develop knowledge of transfer pricing and taxation of overseas subsidiaries and branches.

Being technically strong, ideally you will have a background in corporate tax either in practice or industry and a desire to continuously develop a wider tax and commercial outlook. If you are someone who has the confidence to challenge, show resilience and can break down complex tax laws to evaluate their implications, we want to hear from you!

Location: This position will be granted on a hybrid working basis where flexibility will be required but you will be expected to work from our UK Head office in Lenton, Nottingham around twice a week.
