Paralegal - Private Client

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000

Kinsgate Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm for a Paralegal to join their busy Private Client Department .

This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate or junior paralegal looking to build their career within Private Client law . The role will involve supporting experienced solicitors on a variety of matters including Wills, estate administration, and Court of Protection work , while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

You will be joining a supportive team with a strong reputation for delivering a high level of client service and legal expertise .

The Role

Working closely with Solicitors and Fee Earners, you will assist with a broad range of Private Client matters , supporting the team with legal documentation, client communication, and case administration.

This role offers excellent career development opportunities , particularly for candidates considering further legal training or professional qualifications such as CILEX .

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Solicitors and Fee Earners with day-to-day Private Client matters

• Preparing and drafting legal documentation including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney

• Assisting with the administration of estates and trusts

• Supporting Court of Protection Deputyship applications

• Handling new client enquiries via telephone and email

• Undertaking legal research where required

• Assisting with client communication and taking instructions under supervision

• Maintaining accurate case files and documentation

• Supporting the team with general administrative tasks

Requirements

• Law degree (LLB) or equivalent qualification preferred

• Previous administrative or legal support experience desirable but not essential

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong IT skills , including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

• Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach

• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality
