A vibrant and high-performing 11–18 school in Nottinghamshire is seeking an energetic and passionate Teacher of Music to join its flourishing Creative Arts faculty from January 2026.

The Department
The Music department is a cornerstone of the school’s identity. It boasts a suite of modern practice rooms, a soundproof recording studio, a digital composition suite, and a professional-standard performance hall. Students enjoy a rich curriculum that covers a wide range of musical traditions, from classical to contemporary, and are encouraged to compose, perform and collaborate.
There’s a strong sense of community within the department. Teachers, visiting specialists and peripatetic tutors work closely together to nurture every student’s potential. Extra-curricular music is exceptionally strong, encouraging pupils to join orchestras, choirs, rock bands and chamber groups.
About You
You’ll be an accomplished musician with a passion for classroom teaching and performance. Whether leading ensembles or developing GCSE coursework, you’ll bring enthusiasm, structure and creativity to everything you do.
