Head of Mathematics - Nottingham

A well-established 11–18 secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Mathematics to lead one of its largest and most influential departments. The Role

As Head of Mathematics, you will provide strategic direction, operational leadership and academic oversight for the department across Key Stages 3–5.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading curriculum design to ensure clarity, progression and challenge
• Coaching and developing teaching staff through regular instructional support
• Driving GCSE and A-Level performance through data-informed interventions
• Ensuring consistency in assessment, marking and feedback practices
• Overseeing revision planning, exam readiness and stretch provision
