Estimator
Are you an experienced Estimator ready to take the next step in residential development? Join a leading property development business and play a key role in shaping land acquisition and development strategies across the region. Why this role? You'll be at the heart of the decision-making process, providing accurate land and construction cost estimates, advising on risk, and helping secure the most profitable land opportunities. Your expertise will directly influence the success of regional projects. What you'll do: Assess land viability and costs, including purchase price, legal fees, site prep, and environmental factorsProduce detailed construction cost estimates and financial appraisalsVisit sites to identify constraints and guide pricing strategiesCollaborate with technical and commercial teams to explore cost-saving solutionsPresent findings and recommendations to senior managementKeep records and cost assumptions up to date for future projects What we're looking for: Extensive experience in land appraisal, estimating, or commercial/groundworks in residential developmentStrong knowledge of construction techniques, challenging ground conditions, and building regulationsProficiency with estimating systems (e.g., Bluebeam); COINS experience is a bonusExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsCommercially minded, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities What's in it for you?
