A popular secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a motivated and detail-focused School Business Manager to join the operations team from January 2026 . The successful School Business Manager will be responsible for finance, HR, premises and administration, ensuring operational efficiency and accurate reporting. A full induction and handover will be arranged prior to January.

The School Business Manager will lead the annual budget, monitor financial performance, oversee HR processes, support payroll and manage estates and health & safety compliance. We are seeking a proactive, highly organised professional with strong financial acumen and a collaborative approach.

Experience & qualifications
– Experience in a School Business Manager role or relevant operational leadership
– Sound financial understanding and reporting skills
– Knowledge of HR, payroll, procurement and compliance
– Strong Excel skills and comfort with finance software
– Able to start January 2026 and commute to Nottingham
