Accountancy Practice & Tax Recruitment Specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading independent firm of chartered accountants who are currently looking to add an ambitious and driven Mixed Tax Senior to the team in their Nottingham office.

Working as a Mixed Tax Senior in Nottingham, you will be responsible for your own mixed portfolio of Personal & Corporate clients, whilst also providing ad-hoc support to the partners on interesting advisory based projects.

Joining this well renowned and prominent East Midlands firm, you will gain exposure to a diverse array of clients, gaining exposure to clients from a multitude of business sectors.

The role will primarily consist of providing tax compliance services to an interesting mix of clients and will also allow for the successful individual to gain exposure to advisory and consultancy work alongside a Manager or Partner.

The compliance aspect of the role will involve reviewing corporate tax computations prepared by accounts staff as well as preparing personal tax returns, capital gains tax computations and dealing with HMRC queries as required.

The ideal candidate will be ATT Qualified / CTA Qualified or may be in the process of studying towards one of these qualifications at present. Individuals who are ACA / ACCA Qualified with significant tax experience will also be considered. The successful individual will have had excellent experience of undertaking both corporate and personal tax work within a practice environment.

Candidates who are currently working at Semi Senior level and are looking to take the next step in their development will also be considered for this position.

Skills

Ideally ATT Qualified and / or CTA Qualified or Part Qualified
ACA / ACCA Qualified individuals will also be considered
Experience of both personal and corporate tax work
Ideally some previous exposure to advisory and planning work however this is not essential
Experience of working within practice is essential
